The Microsoft Technician Program consists of two 120 hour training courses. This program helps you prepare for the exam 70-680: TS: Windows 7, Configuring and exam 70-686, Pro: Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Administrator.
Student Prerequisites:
- Ability to install PC hardware, devices, and applications from media, configure BIOS, map network file shares, and work from the command prompt
- Knowledge of scripts, batch files, support logs, TCP/IP and networking, applications, security concepts, and principles of using printers
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Active Directory, including domain user accounts, domain versus local user accounts, user profiles, and group membership
- Ability to install and configure Windows 7 clients
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, networking concepts, and Active Directory
- Familiarity with administration, management, deployment, packaging, and imaging tools
- Ability to work in a team, create proposals, and make budget recommendations
